Cross the High Atlas, explore Aït Ben Haddou and lunch, then Ouarzazate for the night.

2Ouarzazate → Skoura → Dades → Tinghir
Skoura palm groves, Kelaat M’Gouna and the Valley of Roses, the Dades region and a riverside walk in Todra Gorge. Night in the Tinghir/Todra area.

3Tinghir → Erfoud → Rissani → Merzouga
Through Tinejdad towards the Sahara, Rissani’s local atmosphere and medfouna bread, then a hotel or auberge beside the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Optional sunrise, Gnawa music in Khamlia, optional 4×4/quad/buggy, then a late-afternoon camel ride to the desert camp.
